Furled leaders are an excellent option for saltwater fly anglers. The “Nor’Eastern Special” was created for the purpose of striped bass, bluefish, and albie fishing in the Northeast. Included in the bag are 1 furled butt section with a loop on the end, along with 1 knottable wire tippet with a pre-tied loop, and 1 fluorocarbon tippet with a pre-tied loop. This leader has been designed to take advantage of the powerful casting characteristics of the furled leader design, and the interchangeable tip sections means that it will last for quite some time.
