LI Flies Flex Candy Flies

Tied by Mike “LI Flies” Ozkaya, right here on Long Island, NY. These surf candy style flies are tied with craft fur and UV flex epoxy that is pliable when cured. This is a great pattern for albies, bonito, striped bass, and bluefish. Really, any fish that feeds on small, slim baitfish like bay anchovies, and spearing will have a go at these. These flies are tied on a strong #2 Mustad C70SD hook. They also work great as a teaser for surfcasting applications when fished ahead of a plug.
