Wapsi Synthetic Yak Hair Fly Fishing

Synthetic Yak Hair (Item #SYH) is a 20″ long, this synthetic fiber that is ideal for tying streamer wings, tails on poppers, and bass flies. Strands of the material can be twisted together to form tight, strong bodies for trout flies such as caddis and midge larva, pupae, and nymph patterns. Works great as a substitute for bucktail in streamers of all types. This is a great long fiber for tying Bunker patterns like synthetic versions of the “Sedotti Slammer” by Mark Sedotti, and other large profile saltwater baitfish flies.
